"This was a really intriguing nonfiction book about someone I had never heard of before. As I wasn’t born until the 90s, I didn’t hear about Marilyn, but she was a really interesting person. I loved seeing the photos that were included in stuff she starred in, as well as learning about who she was, not just as an adult film star, but as a person with high hopes and aspirations to do and be more. It’s definitely a hard industry to break out of once you’re well known and famous, and she had a lot of struggles with it. "This was a really quick read full of love, lust, and healing. I enjoyed the fast pacing of this story, along with the tropes. One of my favorites is when he falls first, so I knew this was the one for me. Harper is a bit of a complex character because of her trauma background, so it was harder for me to relate to her, but Gabe, on the other hand, was the opposite.
